About the Fencing Center
A Little History
The Fencing Center, founded in 1981, is a not-for-profit member based foundation to further the
development of the art and sport of fencing at the local, regional, national and international levels.
When we were founded we were the only non instituonally based fencing organization in the Central
California Division. Today, The Central California Division has 7 USFA clubs.
We are continuing our mission today through our
- Beginining and elite in-club programs
- Outreach programs
- Customized programs
- School lectures/demonstrations
We continue our history of excellence through the development of Junior and adult competitive and recreational fencers.
